The Royal Marine is an outdoor wall lantern with a black powder-coated metal cage frame wrapped around a hexagonal seeded glass diffuser, housing a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The lantern measures 462mm tall, 241mm wide, and projects 304mm from the wall, mounted on a curved arm that extends from a rectangular backplate.

Designed for covered porches, exterior walls beside entry doors, and patio areas where weather-resistant lighting is needed, the Royal Marine carries an IP44 rating against splashing water and solid objects larger than 1mm. The seeded glass texture diffuses light from the bulb while the cage frame creates patterned shadows across adjacent walls when lit. The curved mounting arm positions the lantern away from the wall surface, directing light downward and outward rather than back onto the facade.

The black powder-coated finish covers both the cage frame and the metal cap above the glass, providing a consistent matt surface that resists fading under UV exposure. The hexagonal glass panels are held in place by horizontal metal bands that form the cage structure, with the seeded texture visible through each panel section. The lantern accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W, allowing control over the colour temperature and brightness depending on the specific bulb chosen.
