Description

The Maytoni DL058 is a 60mm recessed LED downlight with an integrated 7W 3000K LED housed inside a brushed brass bezel and aluminium heat sink. The circular brass trim sits flush with the ceiling once installed, giving a clean finish with no visible fixings or gaps. The 7W LED provides warm white light at 3000K colour temperature, suited to residential and commercial spaces where ambient or accent lighting is needed without the visual mass of a surface-mounted fitting.

Designed for standard plasterboard or suspended ceilings with a minimum cavity depth of 60mm, the downlight fits a cutout diameter of 53mm and is secured with spring-loaded retention clips. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations — living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms, retail spaces and commercial offices. The 7W output is lower than typical 10-12W downlights, making it suitable for low-level ambient lighting, feature lighting in alcoves, or clustered installations where multiple fittings combine to provide the required lux levels.

The brushed brass bezel adds warmth to both contemporary and classical interiors, pairing with brass hardware, warm-toned timber and neutral wall colours. The aluminium body includes a finned heat sink visible from above, which draws heat away from the LED module and extends the operational life of the fitting. The downlight is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V AC mains without requiring a separate driver or transformer — mains connection is made directly to the terminal block inside the fitting.

The fitting requires a minimum 60mm ceiling cavity depth to accommodate the 53mm body height plus clearance for the spring clips and wiring. The cutout diameter is 53mm.

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed output on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches or controls.

Can it be used in bathrooms?
