Description
A round pendant finished in light gold, 39cm across, with five integrated LED lamps giving a total of 2500 lumens. The tone is warm white, nearer the glow of a filament than daylight, and the output is fixed rather than dimmable, so it comes on at full strength the moment it is switched. The driver is supplied with it, and the drop can be set short or run down a long way.
We would hang this over a round dining table or a kitchen island, where the shape echoes what sits beneath it and the light spreads evenly across the surface. It is an ambient fitting rather than a task one, so it is happiest as the main source in a room of moderate size, with a table lamp in the corner for later in the evening. The long available drop also suits a stairwell or a tall hallway. Anyone furnishing in a plain modern style will find it easy to place: the gold reads soft rather than brassy, and it sits well with pale walls, oak and warm stone. Keep it to dry rooms indoors.
The light gold finish is warm and understated, so the fitting stays quiet in the room when the light is off. Dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and leave polishes, creams and sprays well alone; isolate the supply first and give it a moment to cool if it has been running. It carries a three year warranty. We stock the round shape in a run of larger diameters, and the same look in rectangular versions for long tables, in the light gold you see here. The LEDs are built in, so there is nothing to buy alongside it.

Frequently Asked
How wide is it, and how far down will it hang?
The shade measures 390mm in diameter. The suspension can be set anywhere from a minimum drop of 240mm up to a maximum of 3000mm, so it works both close under a low ceiling and well down into a stairwell.
Can it be put on a dimmer?
No. It is a non-dimmable fitting and should be run from a standard switched circuit rather than a dimmer.
Are the LEDs replaceable?
They are integral, with an average life of 30,000 hours, so there are no lamps to change. Over that sort of service life the fitting is replaced as a whole rather than re-lamped.
What is the light actually like?
It runs at 3000K, a warm white, with a system flux of 2500 lumens from five 5W LEDs and a colour rendering index above 80, so skin tones and timber look natural under it.
Can I use it in a bathroom or an open porch?
No. It is rated IP20, which means dry interior rooms only. Kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways are all fine.
How should I clean the gold finish?
A soft dry cloth, lightly used, with the power off. Avoid metal polishes, cream cleaners and anything abrasive or solvent-based, as these can mark a plated finish permanently.
