Description

The Rosa Medium is a single-light wall bracket with a polished chrome multi-circle backplate and arm supporting a half-rectangular ivory faux silk shade. The shade is mounted horizontally against the wall, directing light forwards and upwards while the faux silk diffuses the output for a soft ambient glow. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where wall-mounted lighting adds both ambient and accent illumination without consuming floor or table surface space, the Rosa Medium sits approximately 300mm wide and projects about 180mm from the wall. The horizontal shade orientation makes it suitable for mounting at head height above a console table, either side of a bed as reading lights, or in hallways where ceiling heights limit pendant options.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs well with cooler-toned contemporary interiors, while the ivory faux silk shade softens the metallic frame and adds warmth to the light output. The multi-circle bracket uses interlocking rings to create a geometric pattern that acts as a decorative element even when the light is off. The shade mounts onto a metal frame clipped into the chrome bracket, keeping the fabric taut across the front face.

Frequently Asked

What bulb does it take?

The Rosa Medium takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W warm-white LED for ambient lighting or a higher-output LED if used as task lighting beside a bed.

Can it be used as a bedside reading light?

Yes. When mounted at approximately 1.2-1.5m above floor level on either side of a bed, the Rosa Medium provides directed light for reading. The faux silk shade diffuses the output enough to avoid glare but still gives sufficient illumination when paired with a 10W LED bulb.

What projection from the wall does it have?

The fitting projects approximately 180mm from the wall once mounted, measured from the backplate to the front face of the shade. Ensure sufficient clearance if mounting above furniture or in narrow hallways.

Is the shade replaceable?

The shade clips onto a metal frame attached to the chrome bracket. If the shade becomes damaged or discoloured over time, contact Elstead Lighting or Niori to inquire about replacement shade availability for this specific model.
