Description

The Roehm is a 584mm-wide 3-light bathroom wall light with a polished chrome linear frame and three opal glass cube shades. Each shade houses a G9 LED bulb (3W, 3000K, included), giving 9W total output across the fitting. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, making it suitable for placement above mirrors, along vanity walls or in shower rooms where moisture protection is required.

Designed for even illumination across wider surfaces, the three-light configuration works well above double vanities, long bathroom mirrors or as accent lighting in hallways and dressing rooms. The 183mm height and 159mm projection from the wall give the fitting enough presence to balance against larger mirrors without dominating the space. The polished chrome finish reflects both natural and artificial light, adding brightness to smaller bathrooms.

The opal glass cubes diffuse the LED light evenly, softening shadows and reducing glare when positioned at eye level. Each cube is held on a rectangular chrome bracket that extends from the horizontal bar, creating consistent spacing between the three light sources. The chrome is polished to a mirror-like finish that pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and shower fittings commonly found in modern bathrooms.

Can this be used in a bathroom shower area?

The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, which includes areas outside the shower enclosure itself but within 60cm of a basin or bath. It is not rated for direct installation inside a shower cubicle (zone 1 or 0).

What size mirror does it suit?

The 584mm width works well above mirrors between 600-900mm wide. For larger double vanities with mirrors over 1000mm wide, consider pairing two Roehm fittings or choosing a longer multi-light variant if available in this range.

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses standard G9 capsule bulbs, which can be replaced when they reach end-of-life. Replacement G9 LEDs are widely available and should match the 3W output and 3000K colour temperature for consistent light quality.

How is it wired and mounted?

The Roehm mounts to a standard UK backplate using screws concealed behind the fitting. The mains cable runs behind the backplate and connects to the chrome bar via a terminal block. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, particularly in bathroom zones where IP-rated installation practice is required.
