The Riviera is a plain grey rug with a dense, even pile and no pattern to compete with the rest of the room. The grey is a mid shade, neither pale nor charcoal, so it sits easily on wooden floors and alongside light or dark furniture. It is table tufted in 100% polyester, and the single colour runs right to the edges for a quiet, uncluttered look.

We see it most at home in a living room or a bedroom. It is sold in 60 by 120cm, 80 by 150cm, 120 by 170cm and 160 by 230cm. The two smaller sizes suit the side of a bed, a reading corner or the space in front of a chair, where something soft underfoot is welcome first thing in the morning.
