The Riviera is a modern rug in a deep, even navy, with no pattern at all: just one rich colour from edge to edge. It is table tufted from 100% polyester, and its pile has a soft, close look with a gentle tonal variation where the light catches it. The plain finish lets the colour do the work, so it reads as calm and tailored rather than busy, and the straight edges keep it neat on the floor.

We think it sits best in a living room or a bedroom, where a navy rug grounds lighter floors and pale furniture. It comes in four rectangular sizes. The 60 by 120cm rug suits a bedside or the spot in front of a chair, while 80 by 150cm works beside a bed or at the foot of it.
