Description

The Ring is a 2-light pendant fitting two white glass spheres inside a white-painted metal oval frame suspended from a matching white ceiling rose. Each sphere houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) rated up to 25W. The oval frame holds the two spheres vertically aligned within the loop, with the cable running down through the centre of the frame to the lower sphere.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways where clean minimal styling is wanted, the Ring suits ceilings between 2.4m and 3.5m depending on how much drop is needed. The height adjusts on installation from a minimum 52cm to a maximum 204cm, allowing the pendant to be set closer to a dining table or kitchen island in rooms with standard ceiling heights. The 17cm width of the oval frame means the fitting stays compact and works well over narrow surfaces or in smaller rooms where a wider pendant would dominate.

The all-white finish on both the metal frame and the matt glass spheres gives the Ring a monochrome appearance that pairs with white walls, pale timber floors, and neutral or pastel interior schemes. The matt glass diffuses light from the G9 bulbs without harsh glare, producing softer ambient fill rather than directional task light. The metal construction is finished in a low-sheen white paint, and the IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor spaces only.

Frequently Asked

What bulbs does the Ring take?

The pendant takes two G9 bulbs, each rated up to 25W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs in 2700K-3000K warm white for ambient lighting in living and dining spaces.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is set during installation by cutting the cable to the desired length between 52cm and 204cm. Once the ceiling rose is wired and the pendant is hung, the height cannot be adjusted without re-wiring.

Is the Ring suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is rated for dry indoor spaces only and is not protected against moisture. It should not be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor locations.

What ceiling height does it suit?

With the adjustable drop from 52cm to 204cm, the Ring works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For dining tables or kitchen islands, the pendant typically sits 70-90cm above the surface, which suits standard 2.4m-2.7m ceiling heights when the drop is set between 80cm and 120cm.
