Description

The Rim is a 26cm diameter round metal canopy finished in brass, designed to cluster up to three pendant lights from a single ceiling point. The canopy sits 2mm above the ceiling rose, with three exit points spaced evenly around the plate for pendant cables to drop from. Each exit point accepts standard UK pendant cable and can be positioned to create symmetrical or asymmetrical cluster arrangements depending on the room layout.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands and living rooms where multiple pendants are needed from a single ceiling rose, the Rim provides a cleaner alternative to installing three separate ceiling fixings. The 26cm diameter plate covers the ceiling rose completely while remaining proportional to the cluster below — large enough to look intentional but not so large it dominates the ceiling plane. The brass finish pairs well with brass, gold or copper pendant fittings and provides a warm metallic accent against white or neutral ceilings.

The metal construction provides structural support for three pendant lights totalling up to the weight limit specified in the manual (see Downloads tab). The canopy is designed to be fitted by a qualified electrician, who routes the three pendant cables through the exit points and terminates them at the ceiling rose behind the plate. Once installed, the canopy becomes part of the ceiling architecture rather than a visible component, allowing the pendant lights themselves to take visual priority.

Does this require an electrician to fit?
