Rida LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Gold

The Rida is a 78cm LED semi-flush ceiling light built from intersecting rectangular aluminium frames finished in matt gold, with an integrated 78W LED concealed behind matt acrylic diffusers. The frames stack and overlap at varying depths, creating a geometric composition that sits 8cm from the ceiling surface. The LED array provides adjustable colour temperature between 2600K and 3500K, allowing the light to shift from warm amber to soft white depending on the time of day or the room's use.

Designed for rooms with standard ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, the Rida works as general ambient lighting in living rooms, open-plan kitchen diners, and primary bedrooms where a low-profile fitting is preferred over a pendant. The 78W output provides enough lumen coverage for spaces up to 20-25 square metres, though this depends on ceiling height, wall colour and the presence of other light sources. The geometric frame design means the fitting reads as architectural detail from below rather than a single light source.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable for ceiling installation onto standard UK ceiling roses and joists, while the matt gold finish softens reflections compared to polished brass or chrome. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor spaces only — kitchens, living areas and bedrooms are suitable; bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor locations are not. The adjustable colour temperature is controlled via a compatible wall switch or remote (depending on installation setup), giving flexibility to warm the light for evening use or cool it for daytime task lighting.

Product Manual

Can the colour temperature be adjusted?

Yes. The integrated LED adjusts between 2600K (warm amber) and 3500K (soft white). The adjustment method depends on the installation setup — some versions use a compatible wall dimmer, others use a remote control. Check the product manual in the Downloads tab for your specific model.

What room size does the Rida suit?

The 78W LED output provides general ambient lighting for rooms up to 20-25 square metres, depending on ceiling height and wall colour. Darker walls or higher ceilings may benefit from additional task lighting or wall lights to supplement the Rida.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 8cm projection from the ceiling makes the Rida suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights and above. It sits closer to the ceiling than most pendant lights, making it a practical choice for rooms where headroom is limited.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Rida to dry indoor spaces only. Bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor locations require fittings with IP44 or higher ratings.
