Description

The Riccio 1 is a compact clip-on lamp in white & chrome, made to grip the edge of a desk or shelf and put light exactly where you need it. A glossy white cone-shaped steel shade sits on a flexible chrome gooseneck, finished with a bright chrome ring around the face of the shade, and a white clamp holds it all in place. It stands 33cm tall and is 18cm long, so it takes up next to no room. The light comes from a GU10 bulb at 2.8W, giving 250lm, and the IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

Because it clips straight onto a surface rather than standing on a base, it suits anywhere desk space is short: a study desk, a home office, the edge of a bookshelf or a glass shelf. We like it for a reading corner or a craft table too, where a focused pool of light helps with close work.
