Description

The Rhea is a single-arm wall light with a curved polished chrome bracket, an open cylindrical glass shade, and a faceted crystal drop suspended beneath the bulb holder. The fitting takes one E14 candle bulb up to 40W (sold separately), with the clear glass shade diffusing the light outward and the crystal drop adding refracted sparkle below.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, stairwells and living room alcoves where a compact fitting is needed, the Rhea projects 160mm from the wall and stands 290mm tall. The curved chrome arm gives the fitting a classical silhouette that suits both traditional and contemporary interiors, while the polished chrome finish reflects ambient light during the day and intensifies the glow when the bulb is lit. The fitting is suitable for installation in pairs flanking a bed, mirror or doorway, or as a single accent on a landing or hallway wall.

The crystal drop is cut glass, heavier and more refractive than acrylic, and hangs on a short chain from the bulb holder. When lit, the crystal catches and splits the light into small points of colour, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. The 0.65kg weight includes the chrome backplate, arm, glass shade and crystal, making the fitting suitable for standard plasterboard with appropriate fixings. Dimming is supported when paired with a dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.

The faceted crystal drop hangs on a short metal chain from the bulb holder assembly. It can be removed if a simpler appearance is preferred, though this will reduce the decorative effect of the fitting.
