Description

The Remyck is a 510mm table lamp built around a triangular brushed gold shade suspended from a right-angled stem on a minimal rectangular base. The cone-shaped shade directs light downwards through a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately), while the brushed gold finish on the metal frame catches ambient light and adds warmth to the angular geometry.

Designed for desks, bedside tables and console surfaces where both task lighting and visual presence are needed, the Remyck provides directed light in a compact 197mm width footprint. The angled stem positions the shade forward of the base, allowing the lamp to sit close to a wall without the shade touching it. The 267mm projection means the light falls where it's needed without encroaching far onto the work surface or bedside.

The brushed finish softens reflections compared to polished brass and pairs comfortably with both warm-toned wood furniture and cooler grey or white surfaces. The triangular shade profile gives the lamp a sculptural presence when unlit, making it a functional object that contributes to the visual composition of a room rather than disappearing into it. The rectangular base provides stability without visual weight.

Frequently Asked

What bulb does it take?

The Remyck takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for reading or ambient task light.

Is the lamp dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the bulb you install and the dimmer switch you use. Most modern LED E27 bulbs marked as dimmable will work with trailing-edge dimmers. Check the bulb packaging for compatibility before pairing with a dimmer.

How is the shade angled?

The triangular shade hangs from a fixed right-angled stem. The angle is set by the manufacturer and cannot be adjusted after installation. The geometry directs light downwards and slightly forward from the base.

Can it be used on a bedside table?

Yes. The 510mm height positions the light source at a comfortable level for reading in bed, and the 197mm width fits typical bedside table surfaces without dominating the available space. The angled stem allows the lamp to sit close to the wall.
