Description

The Remy is a 1029mm island pendant built around an intersecting circle motif finished in Parisienne gold, set within a heritage bronze rectangular frame. Four E27 bulbs sit behind a bronze organza fabric shade, casting diffused warm light through the metal framework and fabric layers. The hand-forged iron frame adds 5.2kg of presence above a dining table or kitchen island.

Designed for positioning above dining tables, kitchen islands or hallway console tables where a horizontal pendant provides better light distribution than a centred ceiling fitting, the Remy sits 308mm tall and 534mm deep once suspended. The drop is adjustable on installation from 381mm minimum to 1754mm maximum, allowing the pendant to be set 750-900mm above a table surface depending on ceiling height. The rectangular canopy conceals UK ceiling rose wiring and supports the twin suspension rods.

The Parisienne gold finish on the circle detailing provides a warm metallic accent that contrasts with the darker heritage bronze frame, while the bronze organza shade softens the light output and reduces glare. The overlapping circle pattern on all four sides creates shadow detail when lit, adding visual interest beyond the basic silhouette. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and brightness.

The drop is set during installation by cutting the suspension rods and cable to the required length. Once fitted the height cannot be adjusted without re-accessing the ceiling rose and re-cutting the rods.

How is the organza shade cleaned?

The bronze organza fabric can be dusted gently with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth. Avoid damp cleaning as moisture can mark the fabric and corrode the metal framework.
