Description

The Relax is a 350mm battery-powered LED table lamp with a white pleated fabric shade and a circular metal base, designed for outdoor use. An integrated 2W LED inside the shade produces 180 lumens at 3000K warm white, diffused through the pleated fabric to give soft ambient light without glare. The lamp runs on a rechargeable 3.7V battery (USB charging cable included) and operates for approximately 6-8 hours on a full charge depending on dimmer setting.

Built for patios, balconies, outdoor dining tables and garden seating areas where mains power is impractical or unavailable, the Relax carries an IP54 rating that protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. The touch dimmer control is embedded in the base. Tapping the base cycles through three brightness levels, allowing the lamp to be set for background mood lighting or brighter task light for reading or dining. At 0.9kg the lamp is light enough to be moved between tables, repositioned for different seating arrangements, or brought indoors when not in use.

The white pleated shade is made from synthetic fabric treated to resist moisture and UV degradation, maintaining its colour and shape through repeated outdoor exposure. The circular metal base provides stability on flat surfaces without needing anchoring or weighting. The 139mm diameter shade and 350mm height suit standard outdoor dining tables and side tables without dominating the surface or obstructing sightlines across the table.

The white pleated shade and column suit lighter furniture, while the 139mm base keeps the lamp steady on uneven table tops and the 350mm height stays clear of sightlines across the surface.

How is the lamp recharged?

The lamp charges via a USB cable (included) plugged into the base. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours using a standard USB power adapter (not included). The battery provides 6-8 hours of runtime on a full charge, with longer runtime at lower dimmer settings.

Can it be left outside in rain?

The IP54 rating protects against water splashes and brief exposure to rain, but the lamp is not designed to be permanently installed outdoors or submerged. Bring the lamp indoors or under cover during heavy rain and store it indoors when not in use for extended periods to maximise the lifespan of the battery and fabric shade.

How does the dimmer work?

The touch dimmer is activated by tapping the metal base. Each tap cycles through three brightness levels: low, medium and high. And a fourth tap switches the lamp off. The dimmer remembers the last-used setting when switched back on.

What maintenance does the shade require?

The pleated fabric shade can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks or dirt, use a barely-damp cloth with clean water and allow the shade to air-dry fully before switching the lamp on. Do not use detergents, bleach or abrasive cleaners on the fabric.
