Description

The Rekor 24/7 is a complete 4-camera IP CCTV kit pairing four white 2MP bullet cameras with a 4-channel PoE NVR and pre-installed 1TB surveillance hard drive. Each camera delivers 1920x1080 resolution recording and live viewing, with dual white LED and infrared illumination for 24-hour colour imaging up to 30m in low light. The cameras connect to the NVR via PoE (Power over Ethernet), running data and power through a single cable per camera with a maximum run of 250m per channel.

Designed for residential perimeter security, small business premises and light commercial applications, the kit covers typical front/rear garden zones, driveways, car parks and building entrances. The NVR supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes, with intelligent perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection to reduce false alerts from passing wildlife or wind-blown foliage. Recorded footage is stored on the 1TB drive and can be reviewed via HDMI monitor output, the Android/iOS app, or PC client software. USB backup allows footage transfer for evidence submission.

The four bullet cameras carry IP67 weatherproof ratings, suited to UK outdoor installation in direct rain and temperature ranges from -10°C to +55°C. The white camera housings sit less obtrusively against white render, UPVC fascias and painted timber than traditional black housings. The 2.8mm fixed lens on each camera provides approximately 90-100° horizontal field of view, covering a typical driveway width or garden boundary at 5-10m distance. The NVR itself is designed for indoor installation in a utility cupboard, loft space or under-stairs cavity, with ventilation slots on the case and a compact 455 x 240 x 445mm footprint.

What's included in the kit?

The kit includes four 2MP IP bullet cameras, one 4-channel PoE NVR with 1TB hard drive pre-installed, a 12V power supply for the NVR, and PoE cabling to connect cameras to the recorder. Camera mounting brackets and fixings are also supplied.

How far can the cameras see at night?

Each camera has white LED and infrared illumination with a rated range of 30m in total darkness. The white LEDs allow colour imaging in low light, while the IR switches on automatically in complete darkness for monochrome night vision.

Can I view the cameras remotely?

Yes. The NVR supports remote viewing via dedicated Android and iOS apps, or via PC client software. You need to connect the NVR to your home or business network via Ethernet cable and configure port forwarding on your router.

Are the cameras suitable for outdoor use in UK weather?

Yes. All four cameras carry IP67 weatherproof ratings and operate in temperatures from -10°C to +55°C, covering typical UK winter and summer extremes. The white housings resist UV degradation better than cheaper plastics that yellow over time.
