Description

The ESP Rekor 24/7 is a 4-channel IP CCTV kit built around a network video recorder with a pre-installed 1TB surveillance hard drive, four weatherproof 2MP bullet cameras with Power over Ethernet, and a 12V system power supply. Each camera records at 1080p resolution and combines white LED illumination with infrared capability to capture colour images in low light and night conditions up to 30m range.

Designed for residential, small commercial and light industrial perimeter security, the kit supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes with perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection features built into the NVR firmware. Remote monitoring is accessible via Android and iOS apps or PC client software, allowing live view and playback from any internet-connected device. USB backup allows recorded footage to be transferred to external drives for evidence preservation.

The cameras carry IP67 weatherproof rating for outdoor installation in UK weather conditions, with 2.8mm fixed lenses providing a wide field of view suited to driveway, yard and building-entrance coverage. Power over Ethernet means each camera receives both power and data through a single network cable, simplifying installation and reducing visible cabling. The NVR supports cable runs up to 250m per channel, giving flexibility for positioning cameras at property boundaries or outbuilding locations without signal degradation.

The kit includes everything needed for a four-camera installation: NVR, four bullet cameras, system power supply and connecting cables. The NVR unit measures 455 x 240 x 445mm and typically mounts in an internal utility space, plant room or secure cupboard where the hard drive can operate in a stable temperature environment away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Can the cameras record in colour at night?

Yes. Each camera combines white LED illumination with infrared capability, allowing colour recording in low light conditions up to 30m range. In complete darkness the system switches to infrared mode with monochrome recording.

How is remote viewing accessed?

Remote monitoring works via Android and iOS apps or PC client software. Once the NVR is connected to your network and configured, you can view live feeds and play back recorded footage from any internet-connected device.

What cable length can be used between NVR and cameras?

The system supports cable runs up to 250m per channel. This allows cameras to be positioned at property boundaries, outbuildings or remote perimeter points without signal loss, provided you use appropriate CAT5e or CAT6 network cable rated for PoE.
