Description

The Rekor 24/7 is a complete 4-camera IP CCTV kit comprising four 2MP IP67-rated dome cameras, a 4-channel PoE NVR with 1TB pre-installed surveillance hard drive, system power supply, and cabling. Each camera records at 1920x1080 resolution with a 2.8mm wide-angle lens providing approximately 90-degree horizontal field of view, and combines white LED and infrared illumination to maintain full-colour images in low-light conditions up to 30m range.

Designed for residential perimeter security, small commercial premises, and multi-room monitoring where four camera positions cover entry points, driveways, or interior zones. The PoE (Power over Ethernet) architecture means each camera receives power and data over a single network cable, eliminating separate power runs to each camera location. The NVR supports up to 250m cable run per channel, allowing cameras to be positioned at the far end of large properties or across separate buildings on the same network.

The NVR records continuously, on schedule, or on motion detection, and includes perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection to trigger alerts when movement crosses defined zones. Remote monitoring via Android, iOS, or PC allows live viewing and playback from anywhere with internet access. Recorded footage is backed up via USB for evidence transfer. The IP67 rating on the cameras confirms full protection against dust ingress and water immersion up to 1m depth, making them suitable for external UK weather conditions year-round.

The white camera housings pair with white or light-coloured exterior walls and soffits. Each dome camera mounts on a three-point base with adjustable tilt and rotation once installed, allowing fine-tuning of coverage after the cable is run. The 1TB hard drive provides approximately 30-60 days of continuous recording depending on motion activity and resolution settings, or longer when using scheduled or motion-only recording modes.

What's included in the kit?

The kit includes four 2MP IP67 dome cameras, one 4-channel PoE NVR with 1TB hard drive pre-installed, a 12V power supply for the NVR, and the necessary cabling to connect cameras to the NVR. You will need to provide your own monitor (HDMI or VGA) for initial setup and local viewing.

How far can the cameras see at night?

The cameras combine white LED and infrared illumination to provide visibility up to 30m in complete darkness. The white LED function allows the cameras to record in full colour rather than black-and-white infrared when there is sufficient ambient light, switching automatically to IR mode in darker conditions.

Can I add more cameras later?

The NVR is a 4-channel model, so it supports a maximum of four cameras. To expand beyond four cameras you would need to replace the NVR with a higher-channel model (8-channel, 16-channel etc.) or add a second NVR system.

How do I access the cameras remotely?

The NVR connects to your home or business network via Ethernet. Once configured with the included app (Android or iOS) or PC client software, you can view live feeds and recorded footage from anywhere with internet access. The system supports remote playback, digital zoom, and snapshot capture.
