Designed for covered outdoor positions such as front porches, side entrances, covered patios and garage door surrounds, the Reef Mini provides downward task light for keyholes and steps while casting ambient light through the etched glass bands. The 165mm projection from the wall means the lantern clears most door frames and trim without obstruction. The bronze finish develops a natural patina over time in outdoor conditions, deepening the colour tone and adding texture to the surface.

The cast aluminium frame gives the fitting a 1.2kg weight that stays secure on masonry, brick and timber-clad walls without requiring additional bracing. The horizontal banding design references mid-century coastal architecture and marine detailing, while the etched glass softens the light output to prevent harsh glare at eye level when approaching doorways. What bulb should I use?

The fitting takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K for a welcoming entrance light. The etched glass diffuses the light, so higher lumen outputs work well without creating glare.

Does the bronze finish change over time?
