Description

The Ray is a 130cm LED floor lamp built around a 3cm diameter black metal tube housing an integrated 18W SMD LED strip. The lamp consists of a circular black base plate, a narrow vertical shaft and a frosted acrylic diffuser running the length of the upper section, turning the entire tube into the light source rather than placing a visible bulb at the head.

Designed for tight spaces where a traditional floor lamp with a wide shade would obstruct movement, the Ray fits against walls, into corners, beside sofas and next to beds with a footprint of just 3cm diameter at floor level. The 18W 3000K LED output provides ambient light across a living room, bedroom or reading nook without the lamp itself taking up visual space. An inline foot switch on the cable allows on/off control without reaching for a wall switch.

The black aluminium construction keeps the weight low enough to reposition easily while remaining stable on carpet and hard floors. The frosted acrylic diffuser hides the individual LED diodes and distributes light evenly along the shaft, avoiding the spotting effect seen in cheaper tube lights. The IP20 rating limits the Ray to dry indoor use only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installation.
