Radity Magnetic Track X-Shaped Power Connector - White

The Radity X-shaped power connector joins four magnetic track sections at right angles, creating a crossroads junction in a Maytoni Radity DC 48V track lighting system. The connector measures 110mm square by 7mm deep and is moulded from white plastic to match the standard Radity track profile.

Designed for surface-mounted track installations where lighting needs to branch in multiple directions, the X connector allows track runs to cross at 90° angles without needing separate corner pieces or T-junctions. This makes it useful in retail spaces, galleries, office ceilings and open-plan homes where track lighting follows ceiling grid lines or needs to cover multiple zones from a central point. The connector maintains continuous DC 48V power distribution across all four track arms, so magnetic light heads can be placed anywhere along any of the four connected sections.

The white finish blends with white or light-toned ceilings and matches the rest of the Radity track system components. The plastic body is injection-moulded for consistent dimensional accuracy, ensuring tight mechanical fit with the track ends. Installation involves clipping the four track sections into the connector's receiving ports, with internal contacts providing the electrical continuity across the junction.

Is this compatible with all Radity magnetic track systems?

Yes. The X connector is part of the Maytoni Radity magnetic track range and works with any Radity track sections and light heads running on DC 48V. It is not compatible with mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic track products.

How many track sections does it connect?

Four. The X-shaped design provides four connection ports at 90° angles, allowing track runs to branch in four directions from a central junction point. If you only need three branches, use a T-shaped connector instead.

Does it require any wiring?

No. The connector is a mechanical and electrical junction piece that clips directly onto the ends of four track sections. The internal contacts transfer power automatically when the track sections are pushed into the connector ports. All wiring happens at the track power supply point, not at the connectors.

Can it be used on sloped or angled ceilings?

The X connector is designed for surface mounting on flat horizontal ceilings. Using it on angled or sloped surfaces may create misalignment between the four track arms unless all four sections are on the same plane.
