Description

The Radity is a surface-mounted power feed for Maytoni magnetic track lighting systems, delivering DC 48V power to the track rail from a mains supply. The unit measures 145mm long by 25mm wide by 51mm high, finished in white plastic to match white track rails and blend into ceiling surfaces. Two bare wire tails exit the rear for connection to the mains supply via a junction box or ceiling rose.

Designed for surface installation where the track is mounted directly to the ceiling rather than recessed, the power feed fixes to the ceiling using the integrated mounting plate, then the track rail clicks onto the feed at either end to form a continuous magnetic channel. This configuration suits retrofit installations in existing ceilings where cutting apertures for recessed power feeds is not practical. The 48V DC output requires a compatible LED driver (sold separately) positioned upstream in the circuit.

The white plastic housing blends into white plasterboard ceilings and white track rails without drawing visual attention to the power entry point. The 51mm projection from the ceiling matches the combined track and fixing depth, so the feed sits flush with the track profile once installed. The plastic construction keeps the unit lightweight at approximately 100g, reducing load on the ceiling fixings compared to metal alternatives.

This is a surface-mounted power feed designed for track installed directly on the ceiling. For recessed track installations, use a recessed power feed variant that sits flush within the ceiling cut-out.

How is the power feed wired?

Two bare wire tails exit the rear of the unit for connection to the mains supply via a junction box or ceiling rose. The feed must be wired by a qualified electrician in accordance with UK wiring regulations, with the DC driver positioned upstream between the mains and the feed.

What colour track does this match?

The white finish is designed to match white Maytoni Radity track rails. For black or silver track systems, use the corresponding black or silver power feed variant to maintain a cohesive appearance.
