Description

The Radity end cap is a white plastic closure piece for Maytoni's magnetic surface-mounted track lighting system, supplied as a pair. Each cap measures 25mm long by 6mm wide by 8mm high and clips onto the open end of a track section to seal it from dust and provide a finished edge. The cap fits flush with the track profile, continuing the clean line of the installation without visible fixings or protrusion.

Designed for residential and commercial magnetic track installations where track runs terminate at walls, corners or mid-ceiling positions rather than forming a continuous loop. The cap prevents dust entering the track channel and stops light from leaking out of the open end when track-mounted spotlights are positioned near the terminus. The white finish matches Maytoni's white track sections and allows the end cap to disappear into white or light-coloured ceilings.

Each cap is injection-moulded plastic with a push-fit attachment mechanism that requires no tools to install. The pack of two covers both ends of a single track run or one end each of two separate runs. The caps do not carry electrical current and can be fitted or removed at any time without isolating the track power supply, though Maytoni recommends fitting them before energising a newly installed track to prevent accidental contact with live terminals.

Are these compatible with recessed magnetic track?

No. These end caps are designed specifically for Maytoni's surface-mounted magnetic track profile. Recessed track systems use a different profile and require separate end cap components.

Can the end caps be fitted after the track is powered?

Yes, the caps clip onto the track end and do not carry electrical current, so they can be added or removed at any time. However, Maytoni recommends fitting them before energising a newly installed track to avoid accidental contact with exposed terminals.

Do I need one pack per track run?

Each pack contains two end caps. A single straight track run terminating at both ends requires one pack. If you are installing multiple track sections that each need closing at one or both ends, calculate the total number of open ends and divide by two to determine how many packs are needed.
