Radity 2m Magnetic Surface-Mounted Track - White

The Radity is a 2m white magnetic track rail designed for 48V modular lighting systems, with an aluminium profile measuring 25mm wide by 5.5mm high that surface-mounts directly to ceilings or walls. Magnetic light heads clip onto the track anywhere along its length, connect via embedded copper conductors inside the rail, and can be repositioned without tools or re-wiring.

Designed for retail spaces, offices, kitchens and residential rooms where lighting layouts need to adapt over time, the track allows spotlights, pendant drops and linear modules to be added, removed or moved along the rail as the space changes. Multiple 2m sections can be joined end-to-end using matching connectors to create continuous runs across ceiling planes, with power fed in at one or both ends depending on total load. The low 5.5mm profile sits close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where deeper track systems would intrude into headroom.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish blends with white ceilings to reduce visual impact when the track runs across open ceiling planes. The aluminium construction acts as a heat sink for the attached light heads, helping to dissipate warmth from LED modules and extend their lifespan. The 48V DC supply voltage runs through internal copper bus bars with spring-loaded contacts that automatically connect when a magnetic light head is placed on the rail. Installation requires fixing the track to ceiling joists or wall studs using screws through pre-drilled mounting points at 500mm intervals along the length, then connecting the track to a compatible 48V driver located remotely in a ceiling void or cupboard.

What light fittings are compatible with this track?

The track accepts magnetic 48V light heads from the Maytoni Radity series and other manufacturers producing 48V magnetic track systems with compatible contact geometry. Light heads clip onto the rail magnetically and draw power through spring-loaded contacts embedded in the track.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Multiple 2m sections can be joined end-to-end using matching straight connectors to create continuous runs. Power can be fed in at one end for shorter total lengths or at both ends for longer runs depending on total wattage load.

What driver is needed?

The track requires a compatible 48V DC driver sized to match the total wattage of all light heads attached to the track. The driver is installed remotely in a ceiling void or cupboard and connects to the track via low-voltage cable.

How is the track mounted?
