Description
The Radiara is a 36W constant current LED driver delivering 700mA output with 1-10V dimming control. Manufactured by Ideal Lux, the driver supplies regulated current to LED strip lights, panel lights and modular LED fittings that require a stable 700mA feed, maintaining consistent brightness across the connected load and protecting LEDs from current fluctuations that shorten lifespan.
Designed for ceiling voids, control panel mounting and inside light fittings where mains-to-LED conversion is needed, the driver fits spaces with 135mm x 72mm x 30mm clearance. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments including offices, retail back-of-house areas, residential lighting schemes and hospitality installations. The 1-10V dimming input accepts control signals from compatible wall dimmers, lighting control systems and building management platforms, allowing light levels to be adjusted from 10% to 100% without flicker.
The white polycarbonate housing includes screw-mount fixing points at each end and push-fit terminal blocks for mains input and LED output connections. Internal circuitry includes over-temperature, short-circuit and over-current protection, shutting the driver down if fault conditions are detected and resuming normal operation once the fault clears. The 5-year manufacturer warranty covers component failure under normal operating conditions.

Frequently Asked
What LED fittings is this driver compatible with?
The driver suits any LED light requiring a constant current 700mA supply at 36W maximum load. This includes many LED strip configurations, panel lights and modular fittings. Check the LED specification sheet to confirm the required current before pairing.
How does the 1-10V dimming work?
The driver accepts a 1-10V control signal from a compatible dimmer or lighting control system. A 10V signal produces full brightness, while a 1V signal dims to approximately 10%. The driver does not include the dimmer itself — that must be purchased separately.
Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoor installations?
No. The IP20 rating means the driver has no moisture protection and must be installed in dry indoor locations only. For bathroom zones or outdoor use, an IP44 or IP65 rated driver is required.
What installation clearance is needed around the driver?
Allow at least 20mm clearance around all sides of the housing for ventilation. The driver generates heat during operation and requires airflow to prevent over-temperature shutdown. Avoid mounting directly against insulation or in sealed enclosures without ventilation.
