Description

The Radiantix is a 60cm outdoor bollard light with a turned aluminium body finished in powder-coated black and an opal plastic diffuser at the head. The single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits beneath the diffuser, casting soft downward and outward light across pathways, driveways and patio edges.

Designed for mid-height path lighting where visibility matters without glare, the 60cm column height positions light at knee-to-thigh level for safe navigation on steps, garden paths and driveway edges. The IP44 rating protects against rain and dust ingress, making the bollard suitable for exposed positions throughout the year. The 180mm diameter head provides enough diffusion to light a 1.5-2m path width when spaced 3-4m apart.

The powder-coated black finish resists UV degradation and weathering, maintaining its matt surface through seasonal temperature shifts. The opal diffuser prevents direct bulb glare and spreads light evenly across the ground plane rather than throwing it upward into trees or windows. The bollard mounts on a base plate with pre-drilled fixing points, allowing surface installation on paving, decking or block-paved driveways without requiring buried conduit.

Is it suitable for coastal or high-exposure locations?

The IP44 rating protects against rain and dust but does not protect against salt spray or submersion. In coastal locations within 500m of the sea, the powder-coated aluminium may benefit from occasional rinsing with fresh water to prevent salt build-up.
