Description

This quatrefoil lattice photo frame sets a favourite picture inside a border of cut metal in a warm gold finish. The wide surround is cut through into a repeating pattern of four-lobed openings, so light passes between the shapes. Inside the lattice, a smooth raised inner border in the same gold runs around the picture opening and gives the photograph a neat, clean line. The single rectangular opening takes a 6 x 4in print with no mount, so the picture fills it to the edge. The frame is 17.4cm on its longer side, 12.4cm on its shorter side and 1.2cm deep.

With a fold-out strut at the back, it stands on its own on a mantelpiece, sideboard, bedside table or desk, so it needs no wall or hook. The gold sits happily alongside warm woods, cream and white walls and other brass or gold pieces, and the open pattern keeps it light on a busy shelf.
