Description

The QTX XCAB-15 is a full range PA speaker built into a high impact injection moulded cabinet. It's a practical choice for general PA duties, whether you're running background music, speech reinforcement or a small live setup. The cabinet has integral handles and a 35mm pole-mount socket, so you can stand it on a tripod (US: speaker stand) or sit it on the floor as a wedge.

Inside, the enclosure carries a 15" (380mm) main driver, or woofer, paired with a 50mm titanium compression driver handling the high frequencies through a 2" tweeter. That combination covers a frequency response of 45Hz to 18kHz, giving you balanced sound across the range. Power handling is rated at 200W RMS, and the 4 Ohm impedance is set up to draw maximum power from your amplifier. Maximum SPL is 136dB. Connection is via a standard SPK socket (US: speakON connector).

One of the more useful touches here is the retractable trolley assembly, which makes moving the speaker between rooms and venues far less of a chore.
