This short speaker stand from QTX is built from robust steel with lockable height adjustment, so you can set it at the level you need and know it will stay put. It works well for large speakers, and also takes lighting or effects machines fitted with 35mm diameter top hats. The compact height range makes it a sensible choice where a full-size stand would be too tall, such as on a stage riser, a raised platform or a tabletop set-up.

The pole measures 35mm in diameter and the stand adjusts in height from 0.8m to 1.2m. Maximum weight load is 50kg, which covers most active and passive speakers you are likely to mount on it. At 1.6kg it stays light enough to carry between jobs, and it folds down to 660mm x 120mm x 120mm when collapsed, so it packs away neatly in a car boot or gear case.
