Description

This QTX adaptor box lets you run DMX signals over standard network cable. Used as a matched pair, the system carries up to four channels of DMX down a single shielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cable, which makes cable runs simpler and tidier on stage or in a fixed install. Each unit uses an etherCON-style locking RJ45 connector for a secure connection that stays put when knocked or pulled.

The enclosure is built from steel with multiple fixing points, so you can mount it in a variety of positions to suit your setup. The XLR connectors are clearly numbered, which takes the guesswork out of patching when you are working quickly or in low light. The female XLR version pairs with the male end of the system to complete a full send and return link between your controller and fixtures.

This adaptor is designed for CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 network cable only, and it works well in both permanent installations and live touring rigs. At 0.44kg and 180mm long, it is compact enough to fit into a rack or fix out of the way.
