Description

This is a replacement chassis speaker for the QTX QT series, sized at 6.5 inches and built to fit the QT6 cabinet. It works as a woofer within a full-range speaker enclosure, handling the lower and mid frequencies while the cabinet's other drivers cover the top end. If you have a damaged or worn driver, this gives you a direct like-for-like part to get the speaker working again.

The driver has an impedance of 8 ohms, which matches the standard rating for most QTX QT series cabinets, so you can drop it in without worrying about mismatched loads. Connection is made through spade terminals, sometimes called blade or push-on connectors, which let you attach the wiring quickly by hand. There is no soldering needed, so a swap can be done with basic tools and a little care.
