Description

This is a replacement driver from the QTX QS series, made to fit back into the main speaker position of the QS15 (178.568UK) and QS15A (178.569UK). If you've had a driver fail or start to sound rough, this gives you a straightforward way to bring the cabinet back to full working order rather than replacing the whole unit.

The 15" chassis speaker (sometimes called a driver or woofer in the US) runs at an 8 ohm impedance, matching the original fitting in the QS enclosure. It handles the low and mid frequencies as the main driver, so getting the correct part means the cabinet performs as it did when new. Fitting is a case of removing the old driver, disconnecting the wiring and mounting the replacement in the same position.
