Description

This is a replacement driver from the QTX QS series, built to fit the QS12 (178.562UK) and QS12A (178.565UK) speakers. If the main driver in one of these cabinets has been damaged or worn through heavy use, this 12" chassis speaker (also called a driver in US terms) lets you get the speaker working again rather than replacing the whole unit.

The driver runs at 8 ohms, matching the original specification for the QS series. It slots into the existing enclosure and connects to the crossover and terminals already fitted, so you keep the same cabinet, grille and hardware. Fitting is straightforward for anyone comfortable removing the front grille and unscrewing the old chassis, and it means you can extend the working life of kit you already own.
