Description

The QTX QR8 is a compact passive PA speaker built around an 8-inch driver and a titanium compression driver for the higher frequencies. The enclosure is moulded from ABS, which keeps the weight down and makes the box easy to carry and position. A steel grille protects the front, and a moulded handle helps you move the cabinet between jobs without a struggle. It is designed for general sound reinforcement, so it copes well with speech, background music and small live setups.

Connections are handled by SPK sockets, and the speaker runs at 8 ohms impedance. There are multiple mounting points on the cabinet, including M8 and M6 fixings, so you can rig the boxes in various positions or array several together. A 35mm internal pole-mount (top-hat) lets you sit the QR8 on a standard speaker stand or sub-pole, giving you height for better coverage in a room.
