Description

The QTX QR10PA is a compact portable PA system built around the QR speaker cabinet. Inside sits a built-in amplifier that runs from mains power or an internal rechargeable battery, with up to 8 hours of playback on a charge. The amp drives a main woofer paired with a compression-driven horn unit, so you get a clear spread of low and high frequencies from a single box. One UHF handheld wireless microphone (known as a radio mic in the UK) is included, with the receiver built into the mixer and amplifier section at the rear.

At the back you'll find plenty of connection options. Two wired microphone inputs use 6.3mm jacks, MIC.1 doubling as a guitar input, alongside a stereo RCA line input and a 3.5mm auxiliary jack. The integral media player handles USB, SD and FM sources and includes a record function, plus a remote for handy control. A Bluetooth receiver lets you stream audio wirelessly from a phone or tablet, and TWS wireless pairing links two QR10PA units together as a Bluetooth stereo pair. An echo effect is available for the microphones, and a switchable VCV 'mic override' function ducks the music when you speak.

Front-panel controls cover MIC.1/guitar, MIC.2, echo, bass, treble, master volume, UHF mic volume and the VCV function, so you can shape the sound to suit the room. Getting the unit from place to place is straightforward thanks to a retractable trolley handle and rear wheels. An integral 35mm pole mount lets you raise the speaker on a stand for events and presentations. Optional UHF neckband microphones (178.895UK and 178.896UK) are available separately if you need hands-free use for teaching, fitness classes or hosting.

How long does the battery last?

The internal rechargeable battery gives up to 8 hours of use on a full charge. You can also run the unit directly from mains power whenever you're near a socket.

How many microphones are included?

One UHF handheld wireless microphone is included with the QR10PA, with the receiver built into the rear mixer and amplifier section. Two wired mic inputs are also provided for additional microphones.

Can I connect two units together?

Yes. TWS wireless pairing links two QR10PA units as a Bluetooth stereo pair, giving you left and right channels for wider coverage.

What audio sources can I play?

The integral media player supports USB, SD and FM, plus Bluetooth streaming from a phone or tablet. It also has a record function, and you can use the RCA line and 3.5mm aux inputs for other devices.
