Description

This is an 8" replacement driver for the QTX QR series passive cabinets, built to fit the QR8 model. It gives you a straightforward way to bring a tired or damaged speaker back to working order without replacing the whole cabinet. The driver, sometimes called a chassis speaker, handles the main audio duties inside the enclosure.

The magnet is vented, which helps keep the voice coil cool and steady during longer runs. Connection is made through spade terminals, so wiring up is quick and doesn't call for soldering. The impedance sits at 8 Ohms, matching the standard rating for the QR passive range and keeping load figures where your amplifier expects them.

Part of our wider range of QR replacement drivers, this 8" unit is the correct size for the QR8 cabinet.
