Description

The QTX QHS-175.0 pairs a neckband microphone with a beltpack transmitter, giving you a hands-free option for QTX portable PA units. It runs on the 175.0MHz VHF band and works as an alternative or replacement mic for the QRPA and QXPA systems, so you can keep the same PA while adding or swapping in a new headset.

The neckband design (also called a head-worn or headset mic) sits close to your mouth for consistent pick-up, which suits presenting, teaching and fitness classes where you need both hands free. The beltpack takes 2 x AA alkaline batteries and connects the microphone through a threaded 3.5mm mono jack, with 3V phantom power supplied to the capsule. The threaded connector helps keep the cable secure during movement. The beltpack transmitters are also compatible with Chord neckband and lavalier (lapel) microphones, so you have options if you want to change the mic style later.

The pack measures 150 x 120 x 40mm and weighs 97g without a battery fitted, so it clips on and stays out of the way. Note that the VHF version shown here is for use with the QRPA and QXPA units. If you have a QXPA-plus or PAV8 system, QTX also make UHF models to match those instead, so check your PA before ordering to make sure you get the right band.
