Description

The QTX QHS-174.1 pairs a neckband microphone with a beltpack transmitter, giving you a hands-free option for QTX portable PA units. It works as an alternative or a replacement for existing setups, running on the 174.1MHz VHF frequency. This version is intended for use with the QRPA and QXPA units, so check your PA before ordering to make sure the frequency matches.

The neckband mic (also called a headset mic in the US) sits comfortably around the neck and keeps your hands free, which suits presenters, fitness instructors and anyone moving around while they talk. The beltpack transmitter connects the mic to your PA over a threaded 3.5mm mono jack, and it also takes Chord neckband and lavalier microphones if you want to swap in a different type. Phantom power is supplied at 3V for the capsule.

Power comes from 2 x AA alkaline batteries, so you can keep spares to hand rather than waiting on a charge. The beltpack measures 150 x 120 x 40mm and weighs 97g without a battery fitted, making it light enough to clip on and forget about. If you run a QXPA-plus or PAV8, note that QTX offers UHF versions of this range instead, so pick the model that lines up with your unit.
