The QTX QHH-864.8 is a handheld wireless microphone made to work alongside QTX portable PA units. It suits anyone who needs a spare mic or a replacement for an existing unit, whether that is for events, presentations, or general announcements. The mic measures 240 x 48mm and weighs 170g without a battery fitted, so it sits comfortably in the hand across longer sessions.

This model runs on the UHF band at 864.8MHz and pairs with the QXPA-plus and PAV8 units. If you use the older VHF units instead, there are separate VHF versions that work with the QRPA and QXPA. It is worth checking which band your PA system uses before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable. The 864.8MHz frequency here is a UHF channel and is intended for the QXPA-plus and PAV8 range.

Power comes from two AA alkaline batteries, which keeps things simple and easy to top up when you are away from a mains supply. There is no need for proprietary battery packs or extra chargers.
