Description

This QTX passive crossover is a replacement network for full-range 8 Ohm passive speaker cabinets. It handles a nominal 250W of power and splits the signal at a crossover frequency of 4kHz, sending the right frequencies to the right drivers so your cabinet plays back cleanly across its range.

We supply it as a direct fit for a few QTX cabinets: the QS12A (178.565), the QR8 (178.210) and the QR10 (178.211). If you have opened one of these up and found a failed or damaged crossover (sometimes called a crossover network or filter board), this is the part you need to get things working again. It wires in place of the original board, so you keep the cabinet's intended tuning rather than guessing at a substitute.

The board itself is compact at 25 x 75 x 55mm and weighs just 0.05kg, so it fits neatly inside the cabinet without taking up much room. Fitting is a straightforward job for anyone comfortable with basic speaker wiring, though we would always suggest matching the impedance and power rating to your cabinet before you start.
