Description

The QTX KAD-2BT is a compact digital stereo amplifier that suits both home listening and small commercial setups. It uses an efficient Class D design and delivers up to 55W max. per side into 4 Ohms, or 25W rms per side into 8 Ohms. At just 200 x 200 x 65mm and 1.6kg, it sits neatly on a shelf or behind a bar without taking up much room.

You get three selectable stereo inputs to work with: a 3.5mm line input on the front panel and two stereo line inputs on RCA (phono) round the back. There are also two 6.3mm microphone inputs, so it works well for announcements, karaoke or spoken word. Speaker connections use spring clip terminals rated for 4 to 8 Ohm speakers. Rotary controls cover master volume, treble and bass, plus separate mic volume, tone and echo adjustment.

Alongside the wired inputs, the KAD-2BT has a built-in media player with USB and SD card slots and an FM radio receiver (called a tuner in some regions). Bluetooth connectivity lets you stream from a phone or tablet without cables. The amp runs on 230Vac mains and comes with an IEC lead fitted with a UK plug, so it is ready to use out of the box. The black finish keeps it simple and easy to place in most rooms.
