Description

This pack of five foam windshields is made to fit most sizes of dynamic microphone. You get one in each of five colours: black, red, orange, yellow and blue. The colours make it easy to tell mics apart when several are in use at once, which is handy on stage, in a busy studio or at events where kit gets shared around.

A windshield, also called a windscreen or pop shield, slips over the head of the microphone to cut wind noise and reduce plosives, those hard 'p' and 'b' sounds that thump into the capsule. The foam also helps keep moisture and dust off the grille, so it does double duty as a bit of everyday protection for your microphone.

Each windshield has external dimensions of 70 x 60mm and an internal size of 60 x 35mm minimum, so they stretch to suit a wide range of common handheld dynamic mics. Fitting is simple: just push the foam over the mic head until it sits snugly. With five in the pack you have spares on hand and a colour for each performer or vocalist.
