Description
Our QTX Essential Speaker Lead gives you a reliable connection between amplifiers, speakers and other gear that uses 6.3mm mono jack plugs. The cable runs 6 metres, so you have plenty of length for stage setups, rehearsal spaces or fixed installs where the amp and speaker sit a fair distance apart. Both ends carry a moulded 6.3mm mono jack plug, sometimes called a quarter-inch jack, which keeps the connectors solid and resistant to the knocks that come with regular use.
The lead is built to handle everyday handling. It uses a soft-grip, anti-tangle jacket that stays flexible and coils away neatly at the end of a session, and the connections are machine-soldered for consistent joints. Inside, the cable carries two conductors, each made from 30 strands of 0.17mm wire, with an overall cable diameter of 5.8mm. That construction gives you a lead that holds up to repeated plugging, unplugging and coiling without losing its shape.
This is a straightforward speaker lead for anyone who needs a dependable jack-to-jack run without paying for extras they will not use. It suits mobile DJs, bands, hire companies and anyone kitting out a small PA or practice room. The moulded ends and durable jacket make it a sensible choice for a spare in the gig bag or a permanent link in a rack. Keep one or two to hand and you will always have the right lead when you need it.
