Description

This QTX Essential speaker lead gives you a straightforward connection between amplifiers, speakers and other gear that use a 6.3mm mono jack plug. Both ends are fitted with the same 6.3mm (quarter-inch) mono jack, so it drops straight into standard speaker and instrument setups. At 12 metres long, it suits stage layouts, rehearsal spaces and installs where you need to run cable a fair distance from the amp to the speaker.

The plugs are moulded onto the cable, which helps them stand up to repeated plugging, unplugging and being coiled away after a gig. Inside, the connections are machine-soldered for consistency, and the cable carries two conductors, each made from 30 strands of 0.17mm wire. The outer jacket has a soft-grip, anti-tangle finish, so the lead is easy to handle and less likely to knot when you're setting up or packing down.

The cable measures 5.8mm in diameter, giving it enough body to feel hard-wearing without being stiff to route around a stage or venue.
