Description

This QTX Essential guitar lead carries unbalanced signals between your instrument and amplifier, mixer or audio gear. It measures 3.0m long, with a straight 6.3mm mono jack plug at one end and a right-angled 6.3mm mono jack plug at the other. The angled connector sits flush against your guitar, keeping the socket clear of knocks and reducing strain when you play seated or move around on stage.

We have built the lead with a fully shielded design to keep noise and interference out of your signal. The cable has a 6.0mm diameter and uses 7-strand conductors at 0.16mm each, wrapped in a soft-grip, rubberised jacket. That jacket is made to resist tangles, so the cable coils and stows without knotting between sessions. The die-cast jack plugs are machine-soldered for reliable connections that hold up to repeated gigging and practice.

Suited to electric guitars, basses and other instruments with a standard quarter-inch output, this lead also works for general audio runs where an unbalanced mono connection is needed. Note that in the US a 6.3mm mono jack is usually called a quarter-inch (1/4") mono jack, and a lead may be known as a cable. The right-angled plug is a practical choice if your guitar's output faces outward and a straight plug would otherwise stick out awkwardly.
