This pack of five foam windshields fits most sizes of dynamic microphone, giving you a set of spares to keep close at hand. A windshield (sometimes called a windscreen or pop shield in the US) slips over the head of the mic to cut down on the plosive pops and wind noise that can spoil a recording or live vocal. Having five in the pack means you can kit out a few microphones at once, or simply hold some in reserve for when one gets worn or misplaced.

The set comes in a mix of colours, with one each in black, red, orange, yellow and blue. That makes it easy to colour code microphones across a stage, a rehearsal room or a hire stock, so performers and crew can tell at a glance which mic is which. The foam itself is soft and flexible, stretching to sit snugly over the grille without slipping off during use.

Each windshield has external dimensions of 70 x 60mm Ø and internal dimensions of 60 x 35mm Ø minimum, so they suit the common handheld dynamic microphones used for vocals and speech. Fitting one is quick: just push it over the mic head until it seats fully. They are a handy addition to any gig bag, PA setup or recording space, and the coloured options add a bit of variety without any fuss. When a foam cover starts to look tired or picks up too much grime, you can swap it out and keep your microphones sounding clean.
