Description
The QTX DELTA-50 is a self-contained PA system in a compact desktop format, built around an injection-moulded polypropylene cabinet. It gives you 50W RMS of output through a 200mm (8") reinforced paper cone woofer and two 25mm balanced dome tweeters, so it stays clear for speech and music alike. The size and weight of 7.2kg make it easy to carry between rooms and set up wherever you need it.
Two VHF handheld microphones are included, running on 174.1MHz and 175.0MHz, each powered by a pair of AA batteries. Integral holsters on the cabinet hold the handheld transmitters when they are not in use, so nothing gets misplaced. An echo effect is built in for the microphones, which suits singing rehearsal as well as speaking. The onboard USB/SD/FM media player handles FAT 32 cards and drives up to 32GB, and the built-in Bluetooth 4.2 receiver lets you stream audio from a phone or tablet.
You can run the DELTA-50 from the mains at 110/240Vac using the figure 8 lead, from a 12Vdc supply, or from the internal 12Vdc 2.3A/h sealed lead acid battery, which gives up to 8 hours of use away from a socket. This mix of features makes it a practical choice for classroom activities, meetings, presentations and rehearsals. Microphone frequency response runs from 40Hz to 15kHz, with a signal to noise ratio of 85dB.
