Description

We supply these QTX speaker poles for mounting speaker cabinets on top of bass boxes fitted with top hats. Made from black steel, they hold your top speakers at a sensible height so the sound projects over the crowd rather than into the backs of people's legs. The 35mm diameter tube fits standard top hat sockets, and this version measures 120cm long.

Each pole has rubber end caps fitted at both ends. These protect the socket and the cabinet from scratches, and they help keep the pole seated firmly once it is in place. The steel construction takes a maximum weight load of 30kg, which covers most passive and active top speakers used in mobile and small venue setups.

These are sold as poles only, so you will need bass boxes with top hats and top cabinets with matching sockets. They come in two lengths, giving you a choice depending on how high you want the top speakers to sit. If you run a pair of speakers you will want two poles, one for each stack. For anyone building a PA or DJ rig, these are a straightforward way to get your tops off the floor.
