Description

This QTX 2-way crossover splits an incoming audio signal into separate high and low frequency paths, sending each to the right driver in your speaker build. It works at a 6dB per octave slope, which gives a gentle roll-off between the two bands and keeps the transition between tweeter and woofer sounding balanced.

The unit is rated at 8 ohms and handles up to 100W of power, so it suits a wide range of speaker projects and replacement jobs. You can set the crossover point at 2kHz, 2.5kHz or 4kHz, which lets you match it to the drivers you are using and the sound you are after. A crossover (also called a dividing network in some US listings) is the part that stops your tweeter receiving low frequencies it cannot handle and keeps bass out of the high driver.

We build these from good quality components for clean, reliable sound reproduction. Whether you are repairing an existing cabinet or putting together something from scratch, this crossover gives you a straightforward way to keep the frequency separation working as it should. Fit it inline between your amplifier feed and the drivers, matching the impedance and power rating to the rest of your setup for the best results.
