Description

The Provence is a single-light pendant or wall light with a polished nickel finish, a conical metal shade and three adjustable knuckle joints on the rod that allow the shade to be angled and directed after installation. The fitting can be mounted as a ceiling pendant on the rod or rotated 90 degrees and fixed to a wall as a swing-arm wall light.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and reading corners where directed task light is needed, the Provence pairs the functional flexibility of mid-century French cafe lighting with a polished nickel finish that suits both contemporary and transitional interiors. When installed as a pendant over a kitchen island or dining table, the adjustable joints allow the shade to be angled to direct light onto the work surface or table without glare. When wall-mounted, the swing-arm configuration positions the light out from the wall and allows adjustment to suit different reading positions or desk heights.

The conical shade measures 174mm in height and tapers to a narrow opening at the base, concentrating light downwards rather than scattering it broadly across the room. The polished nickel finish on the shade, canopy and rod provides a reflective surface that catches ambient daylight and pairs cleanly with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and cooler-toned kitchens.
